I hired Jagra Masonry & Tuckpointing for a full restoration of Three- Story commercial building project close to downtown Chicago. It included a complicated permitting process with a dust minimization plan in place to accommodate our neighbors. Additionally, it required the construction of a heavy heavy duty canopy around our building. They replaced 25 steel lintels and performed tuck pointing on both our common brick as well as our CMU. The Project required coordination with additional contractors working at the very same time or directly following completion of the masonry. We've used other masonry contractors on previous jobs and no one matched the extensive set up and speed that Jagra provided. Jagra provided us a thorough and detailed proposal showing similarly completed projects which provided us assurance when selecting them for our job. Our project was done on time per our contract, and I am very satisfied with the quality Jagra delivered.
Truly the best contractor I’ve ever hired. I called three other companies and even though JAGRA wasn’t the cheapest I’ve decided to go with them. Starting from the first conversation to the after-completion inspection you know that you picked the right people. Always responsive to my calls and texts, estimator showed up on the scheduled time and written quote with pictures and detailed scope of work was delivered to my email the very next day after on-site meeting. Same thing with the work they did, they were on time, and I was amazed how clean my backyard was at the end of each day they worked. They matched the color of the mortar so well that my husband was struggling to tell which parts of the wall were repaired after they’re done. As I mentioned before, not the cheapest but at the end you know for what you paid.
We have absolutely loved working with Jakub and the Jagra team. After many, many quotes and conversations, we felt comfortable going with Jagra because they sat down and explained the work thoroughly and answered every single question we had. Additionally, their prices were competitive. They even worked with us to identify a plan for future work on our condo building. Their customer service cannot be underscored—the work was timely, professional, and clean. The guys were in and out, with the owner Jakub coming onsite a time or two to have conversation. There are few contractors I look forward to working with and Jagra are one of them. Wish they did more than masonry!!

Jagra repaired my decorative brick fence in November. A whole section of fence was missing because a tree had fallen on it Jagra and his men were courteous and professional. I was extremely pleased with the job. I would definitely recommend them!

Jagra’s Masonry did extensive work on our 84-year-old, double brick home. Jacob responds promptly to all inquiries. Their pricing is fair and transparent, and their workers are respectful and tidy. We needed the work done in a narrow time frame and they completed our project on time and within budget. We would definitely use this company again.

Jagra gave us a thoughtful and thorough plan to remedy a badly deteriorated wall that was allowing water penetration. They worked incredibly hard and did a great job in difficult, hot weather while being respectful of the neighbor's property as well. Used Jagra to do some repair work on tuck pointing. They were the most responsive to my initial inquiry, the fastest to be able to schedule a time to come out and estimate, and their estimate was the most organized. It was easy to schedule the job once we agreed on the estimate and their work is great. We’ll be hiring them to tuck point our entire wall when it’s time. Highly recommend.
The chimney on our 1960 house had some crumbling bricks caused by water damage. Jacob gave us a quote to rebuild it and set up a date. On the scheduled date they arrived, set up all their equipment and got to work, cleaning up the area and causing no damage to our vegetable garden below. The mortar dried and today they returned to paint it ... good as new. Jacob communicated with us every step of the way. Great service + good workmanship. Very happy customers.
