My experience with JAGRA was great— they did excellent tuckpointing job and replaced a rusted steel lintel. From initial contact to project completion everything went very smooth, they answered all questions and they left the place clean after completion. The team was professional, on time, and the finished work blends perfectly with the original brickwork. I highly recommend them!
The Jagra team was fantastic! So thorough and professional. I got a quote from them and they set up a call to walk through every line item to make sure I understood everything before signing (I've never had a contractor do that before!).They also set up a final inspection to walk through the finished product. They went above and beyond and our red brick bungalow has never looked better!
Jagra just completed a tuckpointing project and windowsill replacement. The work looks great and everything is now sealed appropriately. Their team arrived on time and cleaned up all debris from the work. I would definitely recommend and hire them again!
As a landscape contractor serving the Northshore community for many years, I can say that my experience with the Jagra team was top notch from our our initial conversation straight through to project completion and cleanup. Jacob, our POC, was professional and an excellent communicator who asked all the right questions to ensure the work was executed with our needs and preferences in mind. The crew performing our tuckpointing work (on the entirety of our lakeside home and garage) was courteous, neat, highly skilled and on time everyday. Most importantly, the quality of work met our high expectations. The cost was slightly more than their competition but I have learned through the years that one gets what one pays for. Period. I would and will recommend Jagra's services to my clients, friends and family.
Very satisfied! This is our 3rd engagement w/ Jagra, this time rebuilding a section of our parapet wall including tuck pointing.The crew was organized and on-time everyday. We were kept informed of progress and the site was thoroughly cleaned at the end. We have an older brick home which will require add’l work in the future; Jagra will def be getting the call!
We are completely satisfied with the repair job Jagra Masonry did on the exterior wall of our home. They came out for a quote within 24 hours of me calling, arrived at the scheduled time, and emailed a formal quote by the afternoon. Jakub called to review the quote with me at the end of the day and tailored the contract according to my request. They were available within the week to complete the work and even finished early. They left the site clean and followed-up to make sure we were happy with the repair. Couldn't recommend them enough!
Jagra Masonry has done two jobs at our home. One was tuckpointing our Chimney and the most recent was partially rebuilding our front porch due to a sinking foundation. I highly recommend them for several reasons. They answer the phone when you call. Come out right away to review the situation. They are knowledgeable and explain what's going on and answer your questions. They get back to you timely and are fairly priced. They come to do the job when they say they will, and do professional work. We are very happy and would have them back.

Very happy with tuckpointing and lintel replacement work done by Jagra Masonry.I got 4 quotes before deciding which company to go with and Jagra was most detailed.They also took some extra time explaining why certain solutions were offered . Communication during the project was great and all my concerns were addressed.They restored the mortar joints on my home with precision, paying close attention to detail.Now my house has a fresh look. The crew was punctual and kept the work area clean daily. Jacob and his team exceeded my expectations in every way.

I hired Jagra Masonry & Tuckpointing for a full restoration of Three- Story commercial building project close to downtown Chicago. It included a complicated permitting process with a dust minimization plan in place to accommodate our neighbors. Additionally, it required the construction of a heavy heavy duty canopy around our building. They replaced 25 steel lintels and performed tuck pointing on both our common brick as well as our CMU. The Project required coordination with additional contractors working at the very same time or directly following completion of the masonry. We've used other masonry contractors on previous jobs and no one matched the extensive set up and speed that Jagra provided. Jagra provided us a thorough and detailed proposal showing similarly completed projects which provided us assurance when selecting them for our job. Our project was done on time per our contract, and I am very satisfied with the quality Jagra delivered.
Truly the best contractor I’ve ever hired. I called three other companies and even though JAGRA wasn’t the cheapest I’ve decided to go with them. Starting from the first conversation to the after-completion inspection you know that you picked the right people. Always responsive to my calls and texts, estimator showed up on the scheduled time and written quote with pictures and detailed scope of work was delivered to my email the very next day after on-site meeting. Same thing with the work they did, they were on time, and I was amazed how clean my backyard was at the end of each day they worked. They matched the color of the mortar so well that my husband was struggling to tell which parts of the wall were repaired after they’re done. As I mentioned before, not the cheapest but at the end you know for what you paid.
We have absolutely loved working with Jakub and the Jagra team. After many, many quotes and conversations, we felt comfortable going with Jagra because they sat down and explained the work thoroughly and answered every single question we had. Additionally, their prices were competitive. They even worked with us to identify a plan for future work on our condo building. Their customer service cannot be underscored—the work was timely, professional, and clean. The guys were in and out, with the owner Jakub coming onsite a time or two to have conversation. There are few contractors I look forward to working with and Jagra are one of them. Wish they did more than masonry!!
Jagra team did great job rebuilding my chimney. Thr entire process was smooth. From detailed and straight forward quote, to the scheduling, project start and completion. They were transparent and on time . Highly recommend them!
Jagra repaired my decorative brick fence in November. A whole section of fence was missing because a tree had fallen on it Jagra and his men were courteous and professional. I was extremely pleased with the job. I would definitely recommend them!

Dealing with Jagra Masonry and Tuckpointing was absolutely a pleasure. Jacob came out gave me a great price. Jagra’s Masonry did extensive work on our 84-year-old, double brick home. Jacob responds promptly to all inquiries. Their pricing is fair and transparent, and their workers are respectful and tidy. We needed the work done in a narrow time frame and they completed our project on time and within budget. We would definitely use this company again.
